Long ago, before the world was divided into light and darkness, the gods forged a covenant: for every spark of creation, there must be a shadow to balance it. These shadows took form as winged warriors, guardians of judgment who would walk the boundary between the heavens and the abyss. Their wings, vast and ragged, are carved from storms and cinders, their swords gleam with the residue of fallen stars. To see them march is to see the horizon swallowed in fire.

The legend speaks of five. Each embodies a different inevitability of existence: Famine, War, Sorrow, Silence, and Oblivion. Though they are often mistaken for angels, their faces remain forever hidden in the veil of smoke, for they are not here to save, but to balance. Their presence heralds upheaval—the burning of empires, the collapse of kings, and the silencing of civilizations. They do not speak. They do not bargain. They are the answer to arrogance, the leveling hand of eternity.

It is said they slumber deep within the heart of the earth, bound in chains of molten iron.
